Place your bets! Ah, that phrase can have so many different meanings. What are you willing to put on the table as collateral? Your time? Money? Your heart? It's been said that "Love is a game you don't play to win. You play it to survive." Whoever came up with that philosophy was so right. So many have played, lived and died in vain for love. Is it worth it? Some have killed for the one they love only to realize that it never was to begin with. Some have died for the one they love only to be forgotten in their next lifetime. It's such a funny game to play. Ask yourself. Would you be willing to sacrifice yourself for someone who throws you away and then comes back for convenience? If you fell and that person didn't carry you, would you stay and why? Would you change yourself or the way you look for the sake of getting someone to love you or to avoid embarrassing them? If that person, put their hands on you or was willing to bring you within your last breath, would you forgive? Would you stay? Could you trust a cheater? Could you stay faithful? Would you love yourself first? Or would you not be selfish? Would you love yourself enough to walk away or stay there and take it? That's how the game is sometimes. Love is beautiful, but it can also be your worst nightmare. I'm just doodling, but they are relevant questions, when you're playing the field.
